Hardening off plants but they are dieing...?

I've been trying to harden off my broccoli, peas, and lettuce seedlings for the past two weeks. Just leave them out for an hour or two longer each day. They were doing great and really enjoying the sunshine. Yesterday I left them out a couple hours past dark and when I brought them in they looked all wilted and just about dead! The 25mph winds beat the crap out of them and it was raining a lot too. What should I do? If they can't handle a little rain or wind how are they ever going to survive when I transplant them?

How do I reconcile the gap between her and my fiance now that she has got barely 2 years to live? Why have my 10 month old baby's eating habits changed?

He has just got over a sickness/diarrhoea viral bug. He has always been a very good eater. Last week when he was ill he projectile vomited whilst we were out all over the floor and table we were dining at. Obviously he was off food for a few days. Cramping and constipated?

Why do people spell so badly?

It is mostly out of laziness rather than stupidity. They text or IM in super shorthand and so they get used to using it. They have the brain cells to write out the whole word, but when they are writing it out with pen and paper they say to themselves that whole words are just too long and its easier to just use text speech.

Yes I have had multiple experiences like this. The only reasoning I could think of is that you subconsciously saw it or thought about it the day before the dream so you dreamed about it that night. Then by coincidence this actually occurred in real life. This was the best reasoning I could think of but it's not like you are weird for this happening to you or anything.

Roast beef question - round sirloin tip roast?

I have defrosted a round sirloin tip roast and thought I would oven roast it after a marinade and/or rub but am now having second thoughts. I called the store and verified that it's grade is "choice" and web sites say anything less than than "prime" may be tough when roasted. So now I'm thinking of braising it in wine and beef broth like I would a chuck roast or cutting it up and making beef stew. For either method I would sear it first. I just don't have experience with this cut. I bought it and froze it in November because they were buy one get one free. I'd appreciate advice from anyone experienced with this cut or with roasting choice cuts. Thanks!

I was living in Indiana and had my family and long term boyfriend, so I was content. In the summer of 2009 my family and I moved to Pennsylvania and I had to leave my boyfriend which was the hardest thing. I moved back to Indiana in the beginning of 2010 to be back with my boyfriend, leaving my family wasn't easy. It's now about a year later and all while I've been here in Indy I've missed my family severely.. The dripping behind your throat could well be coming from your sinuses and even ear infection. You may or may not have pain behind and under your eyes. Not to be gross, but when you blow and/or cough up stuff if it is turning color (yellow or green) then yes you have a sinus infection. You need to see a doctor before it gets worse and if not treated it will get worse. For pain try motrin.

37 weeks and scared...?

At 35 weeks the doctors measured me and instead of about 34/35cm fundal height i was 29cm... had a scan and baby was showing at 4 pounds.. im so concerned.. i have another growth scan on thursday and if baby hasnt put on weight i will be induced.. i dont really think i have gotten bigger and babys are soposed to put on half a pound a week arent they? im wondering if anyone else has been in this situation. thanks x

I want to replace my fire suround help.......?!?

It depends on what the surround it made of. If it is brick you can tile over it. If it is a tile you can remove the tiles by popping them off. If you do this you want to be careful not to damage the substructure. I had white ceramic tile around my fireplace and on the hearth and I replaced it with slate tiles. I seen on youtube they said you can use a belt sander to roughen the surface and tile over. THIS DOES NOT WORK!!! If it is tile then the tile must be removed. You will want to support the tiles that are over the top portion. We took a board and screwed two boards to it just as a support or the tile will slide a little when they are setting up. Hopefully you do not have to mess with the hearth. I started to chisle the tile up but ended up taking it completely out and building it back up. Make sure you use a versabond or one that has a bonding agent in it.

My 97 plymouth neon is misfiring?

i had purchased the vehicle about 3 weeks ago and had the water pump replaced 2 days after. drove fine for 2 weeks until the snow storm (i'm a contracted courier and deliver in my own vehicle) i was in somerset ma when it started to jerk or misfire while driving in the slush and rain. it worked and then left me stranded like 3 times. i had it towed to my mechanic and they couldn't find out whats wrong with it without taking the engine apart (i couldn't afford that) they replaced the throttle positioning sensor and got it to idle normally (after many attempts to star it) but if given gas it either bogs out or misfires making the engine rev for 1 second intervals... any idea on what this can be? plugs are new, wires are new, alternator is fine.... it was missing the map sensor when purchased but i highly doubt that's the problem.

You should try check if all the drivers are up to date. Right click on my computer > Properties > Device Manger > Scroll through and find your network adapter> Right click and hit properties> click the drivers tab > Update drivers. Menopause can affect a woman's mental health and state of mind, and because menopause isn't really talked a whole lot about women going through menopause can feel quite isolated. And really the only way to relate to it is if you are going through or have gone through it yourself.My emotions have been in a constant state of flux and things I used to be sure of I am not so sure of anymore. I have some friends in my school but not to many. I feel like this is because of how I was like in the past.
