Why do so many people claim that God is perfect?

there is not a "highest standard of morality possible''. he's God, he exceeds all limits. he's much greater and more vast than your mind can comprehend, that's why you can't come to terms with the idea of perfection. because it doesn't exist anywhere other than in God, yet you don't know the nature of God because you don't really know him.
