Serious question re: touch up paint for hitch cover, please...?

Yes, most good auto body shops can match the color for you. A good painter could probably do it by eye. Don't go to the discount shops. It's better to find a good custom shop or airbrush artist to get it done right. Some extra clearcoat or a dip in clear epoxy will keep it looking nice.
