What do you think of the man Arthur C. Clarke?

I'm watching a program on him on OvationTV. I jsut wnated to hear some thoughts on what some people thought of him and his writing, propositions, and intelligence. I know some people don't think very highly of him and i ws wanting opinions and thoughts.
