Any tips on how to talk to my crush?

So, I like this guy so much it's hard to believe. He knows that I like him because my "friends" told him and he lives like 5 houses down and rides my bus and is in my homeroom. I want to talk to him because I want him to get to know me so we can get past the just friends stage. I look at him sometimes and he's looking at me, of course I smile and blush and look away. Whenever I'm about to say something to talk to him, I chicken out because I'm afriad to screw up and he kinda intimidates me, just by his vibe, (which I like) Well I need halp. Alot of help. Guy answers would be better but I'd appreciate girl answers too. Thanks.
