Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Me and my friend were quite close for a while, and he'd always pop up and talk to me and stuff, he said really nice things about my naturally curly hair and although I found his perverted behaviour towards other girls I just pinned it down to 'thats how guys are'. One day he completely ignored me to stare at a girls... *ahem* backside. I got quite mad and said, 'Oh just don't talk to me'. A week later he said 'You and your friends find me annoying any way' and he looked really hurt (my friends are hard on him I do admit, like if he sits on our table one of them will be like GO AWAY, he refers to her as that thing over there) and now he hangs out with two other girls, I am not jelous like in a romantic way, but I miss him. Some of my friends say he likes me. I don't think so but I wonder if you think thats why he flipped out? Because I wasn't showing him attention, it's been two months and he missed my birthday. I don't want to lose him.
