What is the theme of "The cask of amontillado" by edgar allan poe?

I had just finished reading this story today in cl...and I really think that the Theme of the story was to think stuff out wisely before you take action! Because Montresor had taken his time to plan his revenge and death for Furtanado...I hope that helps a little..
