Ladies what should I do about my hair?

To make a long story short, I dont get my hair colored EVER, I told the lady this, I even went to a pretty expensive foo- foo spa type deal. Well I got a total color (which I like) and some foil highlights, which came out BLOND on my dark brown hair, I told her that Im pretty low matience with my hair and don t want anything drastic, well I cant pull my hair back it is all streaky, since Im not familar with this, where do I stand, if I go back to complain how far will i get? I dont have anymore money to use to fix this and Im having a birthday party Saturday, grrrr.
